How to increase RAM on your computer : Use your Pen/Flash drive as RAM.

RAM is an inseparable part of  the hardware of your PC. Owing to shortage of RAM your PC can be slower. This problem occurs when your PC becomes older or your PC is low configured. Because the more you PC your PC would be older, the it loses it power to work efficiently. So what will you do at that time? Probably would want to add extra RAM for your PC. However your PC is too old, You would not be able to add RAM in it, as your PC's mother board would not allow it to do so for it is outdated. Then is there any ways to increase the speed of your PC. Yes, Some measures are still left for you if you want speed up you PC.

Today I will tell you the method of using pen drive/flash drive as RAM so that you can

speed up your PC somewhat.

Method 1(for all windows operating system): Microsoft windows uses two kinds of memories for it's working.

1.Physical Memory (which is known as RAM to us)

2.Page File(A virtual memory file which is stored in hard disk)

when Physical Memory(RAM) is finished, Virtual memory is used in addition. Here it is noteworthy that Physical memory faster than Virtual memory. However I am describing The method 1----

# First connect the pen/flash drive to the computer.(Drive will be at least 1 Gb. 4 Gb will be more good)

# Click right button of your mouse on the Icon "My Computer" and go to Properties.

# Advanced>Performance>Settings>Advanced>Change

# Here No paging file is automatically set up.

# Now selecting pen/flash drive, give mark on Custom Size

# Write the same number in Initial size and Maximum size. Here you have to type the number which you want use as RAM.

# Windows needs 5 megabyte free space. So minus at least 5-10 megabyte from available memory.

# Now Restart your computer after clicking on Apply and OK.

That's done!

Method 2(Only for Windows seven And Vista and Win -8) : If your computer is installed with windows 7 or Windows Vista or Windows 8. It would be very easy for to speed up your PC somewhat. Because in Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows 8, Ready boost technology has been included. With this technology you can somewhat speed up your PC. With Read Boost Technology you can easily use Pen/Flash drive as Third Memory(RAM).

# Connect Pen/Flash Drive to your computer .

# Open My Compute.

# Go to the properties of your Removable disk.

# Click on Ready boost tab.

Click on "Use the device" and the select how much space you want to use as RAM.
