How You Understand that Your Computer is Attacked with Virus

Today we are living in a digitally developed world. The more we are becoming digitally developed the more we are in dangers and threats of security in this world. While working with computers, every devices, programs that are used for various purposes are becoming infected with virus. May be, I do not know whether my computer is infected with virus or not. Let's be informed today that if your computer is infected with virus or not. There are many computers and there are many viruses too. But how much we know that our computer are infected with virus or not. Yes, there are some ways to check whether your computer is infected with virus or not. Do the following jobs and be sure of the attacks of virus.

  • Your Tasks Manager is disabled: If your Tasks Manager is disabled, then you can assume that ten to one your computer is infected with viruses. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del, If your Task Manager is visible, your computer is OK; otherwise it has viruses.
  • Command prompt inactive: If your command prompt is inactive, it is because your computer is infected with viruses. Press, Widows key+R to start Run windows. Then write cmd in the box and hit Enter key. If your command prompt does run, your computer is OK. otherwise it has virus.
  • Registry Editor is inactive: To check this features, press Windows key+R and type regedit in the Run box and hit Enter key. If Registry Editor appears, your computer is OK. If it doesn't appear, your computer is infected with virus.
  • If your computer restarts or shuts down automatically, your computer is infected with virus.
  • All the programs are off or all background programs are off but your CPU usage shows above 5%. Certainly your PC is attacked with virus. To check it, press Ctrl+Alt+Del. A screen will appear before you, now click on start Task Manger. Now click on Performance tab. You will see CPU usage.
  • If Search option doesn't exist in Start menu.
  • If hard drive or pen drive do not open even after clicking double on them.
  • If you don't see open option or if you see in another language while clicking right button of your mouse.
  • Your computer takes a lot of time to be shut down or opened but your computer has little program installed.
  • It takes longer time to be executed if you open or close any program or if you give any command.
  • If it doesn't have any folder options or it doesn't work. To check it open My computer and go to Tools menu. Now observe the option. If it is not, you pc is faulty that means your computer has viruses.
  • If it doesn't have Hidden files & folders option or it doesn't work. To check it go to open My computer and go to Tools menu. Now click on folder option. To check whether it works or not, come again to the option. If tick mark is given on Do not show hidden files & folders option, you computer is ten to one affected with Virus.
  • If your computer opens with the windows named C:windows or C:my documents.
  • If C drive shows full but you did not installed much program in it.
  • If your computer become frequently hang.
  • If any message tells you to install any definite Anti-virus.
  • If your browser shows any irregularities.
  • If you see any error message again and again in the tray notification area.
  • If you see any unknown Icon on desktop which you didn't install or it is not relevant installed program.
  • you don't see any files but you didn't make them hide or delete. But surprisingly you see it occupies much space.
  • Login option comes while open your computer but your computer doesn't open.
  • If you see that some folders have been copied automatically in all drives
What you will do if your computer is attacked with Virus.
If you are now sure that your computer has virus or not. If it does, then very often you format your whole windows and install a new windows in your computer. But today I will tell you a simple tricks with which you can recover your infected files that have been damaged by the viruses. Now do the following jobs with me.
  • Go to Start menu and write run in the search box or press Windows key+R. You will see a small screen at the left. Now write sfc/scannow in the run menu box. Enter the windows disk into the drive and wait for a while. See that windows will check all the files that are need to be repaired.
  • Use a good quality anti-virus in your computer and scan the whole computer.
