How to Create a Google Analytics Account

What is Google Analytics?
Google Analytics is a web service by Google by which  a total statistics of a website  can be seen at  a glance. It generates detailed statistics about a website's traffic and traffic sources and measures conversions and sales.

Why Google Analytics? 

Google Analytics is used to observe the websites' behavior such as it's visitors, visitors' countries, new visitors, running visitors, visitors' stay time at your site etc. It also shows How did visitors find your website and what contents they  viewed.

Linking Adsense with  Analytics you can also see your earning details at a glance. you can also see, which  ads how much revenue provides you.  In a nutshell we can say that Google Analytics is used to know  all about your website related to visitors and earning. That's why Analytics can be called a watchdog of a website.

How to create a Google Analytics Account ?
Creating Google Analytics account is very simple easy and free. Don't do anything but follow the instructions step by step.

• At first create you new Gmail account 

• To open your account go to Google Analytics home page.Then click on Sign in. Now Sign in with your Gmail and password.

•  Sign up to start using Google Analytics.

• Just fill up the following form giving information accurately and click Get Tracking ID

Explanation of the  form :

• Select Website-
• Account Name: Give Your Account Name that bears the testimony to your works or subjects. See
  the  above example.
• Website name: What is your website name that means it's not just the URL of your websie. Suppose Your Website is www.amiodhara.blogspot.com. You may write here in the box Amiodhara management . 
• Website URL : As http:// is set at the left, so write only www.yoursitename.com here.
• Industry categories: Here you can  see many options. but I recommend here to select Online Communities
• Select Time Zone: Select your own country here.

• Click on the Admin section and go  to Account >>Property and finally find Tracking Info. And click on it and go >> Tracking code 

• You will find Tracking ID and Tracking Code at the right side

• Tracking ID and Tracking Code

Now done! Put your Tracking ID and Tracking Code to your Website home page to track your website details. To do this you need specialist or a web developer. If you know little about this please take help from a specialist who has a deep knowledge about it. But you have knowledge about it, do it yourself.
